The chemical composition and band alignment are systematically investigated at the TiO2/InP heterointerface. Thin TiO2 films are deposited by ALD on atomically ordered, P‐terminated p‐InP(100). By combining UPS, XPS, and ab initio molecular dynamics, the atomistic structure and electronic alignment are revealed.

Structure function analysis of turbulent flows
The present work focuses on structure functions in homogeneous isotropic turbulence. Structure functions are statistics (more precisely, higher-order moments) of the velocity difference evaluated at two points in space, separated by some distance $r$. While most of the work found in the literature is based on phenomenology and thus requires additional ...

Substrate Stress Relaxation Regulates Cell‐Mediated Assembly of Extracellular Matrix
Silicone‐based viscoelastic substrates with tunable stress relaxation reveal how matrix mechanics regulates cellular mechanosensing and cell‐mediated matrix remodelling in the stiff regime. High stress relaxation promotes assembly of fibronectin fibril‐like structures, increased nuclear localization of YAP and formation of β1 integrin‐enriched ...

Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...

The structure of turbulent shear flow
A theoretical investigation is made of the mixing layer between two streams. The work is divided into four sections. The first involves the solution of the mean problem of laminar and turbulent mixing. The equations of motion are written in terms of a similarity variable. An eddy viscosity hypothesis is made to describe the shear stresses.
