Modernization of old turkish texts
2018 26th Signal Processing and Communications Applications Conference (SIU), 2018Changes in a language over time causes the texts that is written in old times contain lot of words that is not used at the present time. This makes it difficult for readers to understand old texts. The goal of text simplification task is to increase the readability and understandability of the text by preserving the meaning.

Attitude change and Turkish modernization
Behavioral Science, 1968Theories of modernization and attitude change have generally assumed that the growth of education and the mass media will aid in significantly changing mass attitudes. This proposition is contradicted by the findings from a projection of likely changes in Turkish villager attitudes as education and the mass media become more widespread.
