2020The Turkmen Sahra manuscript of Dede Korkut, as far as we can understand from its linguistic properties, is copied from another manuscript, by an Azerbaijani who was probably from the village of Ligvan in the region of Tabriz. So the manuscript is written in the Azerbaijani language.

On the Studies About Turkmen Dictionaries and Turkmen Lexicography
2014This article is intended to examine the studies done both in Turkey and abroad on Turkmen dictionaries and Turkmen lexicography since 1913 onwards. Types of Turkmen dictionaries are explained in the study. In addition, a list of Turkmen dictionaries and the studies relating Turkmen lexicography is given. That list has not compiled so far.

2017Much of Turkmens who came to Anatolia escaped from the Mongol invasion were settled in the southern regions of Anatolia by the Anatolian Seljuk State which experienced the most powerful period in first quarter of 13th century. These Turkmen tribes were organized under the Karamanids’ administration.
