Nutritional Changes and Contributing Factors in Iran: A Comprehensive Study From PERSIAN Cohort Study (2015–2017 and 2021–2023)

From baseline to reassessment phase, Iranians experienced significant reductions in energy and macronutrient intakes. Sociodemographic characteristics, lifestyle, anthropometric measures, and health status are important contributors to these changes, highlighting the impact of economic pressure and nutritional inequality in Iran.

Moderate knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) toward diabetes mellitus were observed among outpatients and their companions in Herat, with significant sociodemographic disparities. Targeted health education, media engagement, and culturally tailored interventions are needed to address gaps in lifestyle practices and routine monitoring.

Using time‐series remote sensing to identify and track individual bird nests at large scales
