Abstract This chapter addresses several aspects of electoral turnout in Poland (after 1989), a complex phenomenon that is a fundamental element of democracy. It is divided into two main parts. The first one offers the key data on turnout in Poland after 1989, with a review of the existing scholarship and main empirical findings.
