Batı dünyası tarafından 1930’lu yıllarda keşfedilen geleneksel bir şarkı söyleme biçimi olan Höömey, Moğolca bir kelime olup gırtlaktan şarkı söyleme anlamına gelmektedir. Bu şarkı söyleme biçimi Rusya Federasyonu’na bağlı Güney Sibirya’da yaşayan Tuva Türkleri tarafından icra edilmektedir.
