2018Güney Sibirya Türk topluluklarından biri olan Tuvalarınzengin bir sözlü geleneği vardır. Tuvalar, 1930'dan itibaren kendi dilleriniyazı dili olarak kullanmaya başlamışlardır. Bu çalışmada, Tuva destanlarındakullanılmış olan, ancak Tuva yazı dilini temsil eden sözlüklerde yer almayansözcükler ele alınmıştır.

Tuvan is one of the archaic Turkic languages. A powerful Mongolic influence means that it possibly also has more Mongolic elements than other Turkic languages. Results of the present work are based on a database of approximately 1500 Mongolic loanwords.

Onomatopoeia is generally defined as the words reflect the sounds in the nature imitatively. Turkic has a wide vocabulary and word formation process in this area. Onomatopoeic words have typical features in terms of their meanings and forms in Tuvan language as well. With regard to their meanings, it is seen that these words have a wide scope including
