Transcutaneous Auricular Vagus Nerve Stimulation for the Treatment of Myoarthropathic Symptoms Associated With Temporomandibular Disorders—A Pilot Randomised Controlled Trial

open access: yesJournal of Oral Rehabilitation, Volume 52, Issue 12, Page 2351-2360, December 2025.
This pilot randomised controlled trial investigated the feasibility and potential therapeutic effects of transcutaneous auricular vagus nerve stimulation (taVNS) in participants experiencing chronic pain associated with temporomandibular disorders (TMD). High recruitment and retention rates were achieved.

Phenotypic plasticity in a novel set of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitor‐adapted non‐small cell lung cancer cell lines

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, Volume 15, Issue 11, Page 1854-1873, November 2025.
Phenotypic plasticity in a newly established set of EGFR inhibitor‐adapted NSCLC cell lines during adaptation and in established cell lines. Here, we introduce novel sublines of the EGFR‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) cell lines HCC827 and HCC4006 adapted to the EGFR kinase inhibitors gefitinib (HCC827rGEFI2μm, HCC4006rGEFI1μm), erlotinib ...

Reduced Frontal Nogo-N2 With Uncompromised Response Inhibition During Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation—More Efficient Cognitive Control?

open access: yesFrontiers in Human Neuroscience, 2020
We have previously shown invasive vagus nerve stimulation to improve attention and working memory and alter emotion-attention interaction in patients with refractory epilepsy, suggesting that VNS might be useful in the treatment of cognitive impairment ...

Direct and Transcutaneous Vagus Nerve Stimulation for Treatment of Tinnitus: A Scoping Review

open access: yesFrontiers in Neuroscience, 2021
Recent animal research has shown that vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) paired with sound stimuli can induce neural plasticity in the auditory cortex in a controlled manner.

The Correlation Between Microbial and Physicochemical Properties of Beef Thigh Meat and Particle Size, Polydispersity Index, and Zeta Potential After Treating With Different Concentrations of Sodium Alginate Nanoparticles Containing Lemon Verbena Plant Leaf Essential Oil

open access: yesFood Science &Nutrition, Volume 13, Issue 11, November 2025.
Active sodium alginate coating incorporated with sodium alginate nanoparticles (SANPs) and lemon verbena essential oil (LVEOs) was prepared. The beef thigh coated with SANPs containing 2% LVEOs had better chemical and microbial quality than the control group.
