Spatial analysis of HPV‐associated cervical intraepithelial neoplastic tissues demonstrate distinct immune signatures associated with cervical cancer progression

open access: yesThe Journal of Pathology, Volume 268, Issue 2, Page 200-214, February 2026.
Abstract Cervical cancer remains the fourth most common cancer affecting women worldwide, and incidences of other HPV‐related cancers continue to rise. For the development of effective prevention strategies in high‐risk patients, we aimed to better understand the roles of inflammatory pathways and the tumour microenvironment as the main driver of ...

Pressures for geodesic flows of rank one manifolds

open access: yes, 2013
We study the geodesic flow on the unit tangent bundle of a rank one manifold and we give conditions under which all classical definitions of pressure of a H\"older continuous potential coincide.

The value and impact of weight reduction from the perspective of people with type 2 diabetes in the United States

open access: yesDiabetes, Obesity and Metabolism, Volume 28, Issue 2, Page 1116-1125, February 2026.
Abstract Aims To understand the importance and potential impacts of reaching a lower weight or body mass index (BMI) from the perspectives of people with type 2 diabetes (T2D) across BMI levels. Materials and methods A cross‐sectional survey, informed by qualitative interviews, was administered to a sample representative of the US T2D population by BMI.

Highly Efficient Sono‐Contact‐Electrocatalysis Enabled by Fine‐Scale and Ultrasonically Generated Polytetrafluoroethylene Particles

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
This paper employs a range of carefully controlled experiments to understand the role of the structure, crystallinity, and chemical composition of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in driving catalytic reactions during sonication. These findings provide new insights into the applicability of PTFE in redox reactions and highlight key factors influencing ...

Single-incision mini-sling for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence: Is it actually inferior to transobturator vaginal tape and tension-free vaginal tape?

open access: yesGynecology and Minimally Invasive Therapy, 2020
Objectives: The aim of the study was to report the extended long-term results of the use of single-incision mini-sling (SIMS), tension-free vaginal tape (TVT), and transobturator tape (TOT) for the treatment of female stress urinary incontinence (SUI) at

A Hybrid High-Order method for nonlinear elasticity

open access: yes, 2017
In this work we propose and analyze a novel Hybrid High-Order discretization of a class of (linear and) nonlinear elasticity models in the small deformation regime which are of common use in solid mechanics.

Conversion to Cardiac Surgery During Elective and Urgent Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesCatheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions, Volume 107, Issue 1, Page 210-220, January 1, 2026.
ABSTRACT Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has become an established treatment for severe aortic stenosis. However, the need for unplanned conversion to cardiac surgery (CS) during TAVI remains an infrequent but critical event. It is unclear whether this risk is higher in patients undergoing urgent procedures.

Transobturator tapes are preferable over transvaginal tapes for the management of female stress urinary incontinence: Against

open access: yesIndian Journal of Urology, 2009
Midurethral placement of tension-free vaginal tapes with a transvaginal route for stress urinary incontinence achieves higher and better long-term success rates than the transobturator route.

Improved Copper‐Zinc Based Catalysts for the Partial Dehydrogenation of Dicyclohexylmethanol

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 2, 28 January 2026.
Cu/ZnO/ZrO2 catalysts were synthesized by continuous co‐precipitation with subsequent batch suspension ageing. By analytical characterization and experimental testing in the partial dehydrogenation of dicyclohexylmethanol as a model reaction, structure‐activity correlations were derived.
