Cellular Identity Crisis: RD3 Loss Fuels Plasticity and Immune Silence in Progressive Neuroblastoma
Researchers discovered that therapy‐induced loss of RD3 protein in neuroblastoma triggers a dangerous shift: cancer cells become more stem‐like, invasive, and resistant to treatment while evading immune detection. RD3 loss suppresses antigen presentation and boosts immune checkpoints, creating an immune‐silent environment.

Designing Scalable Mechano‐Virucidal Nanostructured Acrylic Surfaces for Enhanced Viral Inactivation
Can a surface be designed to physically break viruses? This study explores how nanoscale geometry—specifically the spacing of tiny pillars—can determine whether viruses remain intact or rupture. Using flexible acrylic and a scalable fabrication process, the authors develop nanopillared, transparent surfaces that show strong antiviral activity without ...

Categorical models for equivariant classifying spaces
Starting categorically, we give simple and precise models of equivariant classifying spaces. We need these models for work in progress in equivariant infinite loop space theory and equivariant algebraic K-theory, but the models are of independent ...

Combining machine learning and probabilistic statistical learning is a powerful way to discover and design new materials. A variety of machine learning approaches can be used to identify promising candidates for target applications, and causal inference can help identify potential ways to make them a reality.

Skew group algebras in the representation theory of artin algebras
Then the corresponding crossed product algebra /i * ?G, or /i x G for short, has an elements CgiEG ,gi A.-; li ~/i. Addition is componentwise, and multiplication is given by & = g(A)g and g, g2 = y(g, , g2) m. In this paper we assume that the values of y

On Clifford systems and generalized crossed products
for additive subgroups R,, CJ E G. satisfying R,R, = R,, for all u, r E G. In [ 17 ] such a ring R is called an almost strongly graded ring of type G because it may be viewed as a direct generalization of a strongly graded ring or a generalized crossed ...
