On a construction of the twistor spaces of Joyce metrics

open access: yesJournal of Algebraic Geometry, 2008
We explicitly construct the twistor spaces of some self-dual metrics with torus action given by D. Joyce. Starting from a fiber space over a projective line whose fibers are compact singular toric surfaces, we apply a number of birational transformations to obtain the desired twistor spaces.

Higher dimensional generalizations of twistor spaces

open access: yesJournal of Geometry and Physics, 2017
We construct a generalization of twistor spaces of hypercomplex manifolds and hyper-Kahler manifolds $M$, by generalizing the twistor $\mathbb{P}^{1}$ to a more general complex manifold $Q$. The resulting manifold $X$ is complex if and only if $Q$ admits a holomorphic map to $\mathbb{P}^1$. We make branched double covers of these manifolds.

Wavelength‐Dependent Differential Amplification of Raman Scattering by Chiral Gold Nanorods for Multiplexed Encoding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The SERS spectra of reporter molecules adsorbed on chiral gold nanorods depends on the handedness of circularly polarized light (CPL‐SERS). The bisignate plasmonic CD spectra of chiral nanorods provides wavelength‐dependent CPL‐SERS. Selective discrimination of chiral nanorod handedness and different Raman reporters allow highly sensitive codification ...

Carrollian $\mathscr Lw_{1+\infty}$ representation from twistor space

open access: yesSciPost Physics
We construct an explicit realization of the action of the $\mathscr Lw_{1+∞}$ loop algebra on fields at null infinity. This action is directly derived by Penrose transform of the geometrical action of $\mathscr Lw_{1+∞}$ symmetries in twistor space ...

Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

Remodeling Interfacial Electrical Field for Superhigh Capacity and Ultralong Lifespan Aqueous Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The design of cathode materials is the key to solving the practical application of AZIBs. In this work, the formation of the built‐in electric field in the NVO@CC material adjusts the electronic structure, showing high specific capacity and ultra‐long cycle stability, and achieving rapid diffusion of ions and good electrochemical kinetics.

N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 supersymmetry in the twistor description of higher-spin holography

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study the holographic duality between higher-spin (HS) gravity in 4d and free vector models in 3d, with special attention to the role of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 2 supersymmetry (SUSY).

Compatible Complex Structures on Twistor Spaces

open access: yes, 2008
Let (M,g) be a Riemannian 4-manifold. The twistor space Z->M is a CP1-bundle whose total space Z admits a natural metric h. The aim of this article is to study properties of complex structures on (Z,h) which are compatible with the CP1-fibration and the ...

Enhancing the Photocatalytic Performance of Carbon Nitrides Through Controlled Local Structure Modification

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work utilizes poly(heptazine imides) as a model system to demonstrate how fine‐tuning the crystal structure influences the photocatalytic properties of layered carbon nitrides in the hydrogen evolution reaction. In particular, the nature of rotational defects and the hydration shell of cations are key contributors to enhanced hydrogen evolution ...
