Twistor spaces for Riemannian symmetric spaces

We determine the structure of the zero-set of the Nijenhuis tensor of the natural almost complex structure \(J_ 1\) on the total space of the bundle \(J(G/K,g)\) of Hermitian structures on the tangent spaces of any even-dimensional Riemannian symmetric space \(G/K\) of compact or non- compact type.

We introduce a plethora of skew algebroids on twistor spaces and describe the corresponding foliations. In a forthcoming paper, we use these algebroids to derive results about bihermitian manifolds, also known as generalized Kahler manifolds.

This paper describes a family of moduli spaces of holomorphic vector bundles over hyperelliptic Riemann surface, using twistor methods. The family includes the Jacobian and the moduli space of all stable holomorphic vector bundles with rank two and fixed determinant of odd degree.
