Ice Lithography: Recent Progress Opens a New Frontier of Opportunities

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This review focuses on recent advancements in ice lithography, including breakthroughs in compatible precursors and substrates, processes and applications, hardware, and digital methods. Moreover, it offers a roadmap to uncover innovation opportunities for ice lithography in fields such as biological, nanoengineering and microsystems, biophysics and ...

A hidden 2d CFT for self-dual Yang-Mills on the celestial sphere

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Self-dual Yang-Mills theory admits an underlying infinite dimensional symmetry algebra, which has been obtained from mode expansion of Mellin transformed 4d scattering amplitudes and separately, Koszul duality on twistor space.

Ambitwistor formulations of R 2 gravity and (DF)2 gauge theories

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We consider D-dimensional amplitudes in R 2 gravities (conformal gravity in D = 4) and in the recently introduced (DF)2 gauge theory, from the perspective of the CHY formulae and ambitwistor string theory.

Bio‐Friendly Artificial Muscles Based on Carbon Nanotube Yarns and Eutectogel Derivatives

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Solid‐state artificial muscles based on coiled commercial carbon nanotube yarns coated with eutectogel derivatives exhibit unipolar actuation through selective ion intercalation. Combining polyanionic and polycationic gels enables enhanced contractile stroke and high energy density.

Room‐Temperature, High‐Resolution Soft Anisotropic Conductive Film for Electrical Interfacing in Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A UV‐crosslinkable soft anisotropic conductive film (ACF) provides high‐resolution, room‐temperature electrical interfacing. Upon UV exposure, azide crosslinkers within the ACF matrix form covalent bonds with a wide range of C–H‐containing materials, resulting in interfaces that are both mechanically durable and electrically reliable.

M5-brane and D-brane scattering amplitudes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
We present tree-level n-particle on-shell scattering amplitudes of various brane theories with 16 conserved supercharges. These include the world-volume theory of a probe D3-brane or D5-brane in 10D Minkowski spacetime as well as a probe M5-brane in 11D ...

A Chiral Perturbation Expansion for Gravity

open access: yes, 2005
A formulation of Einstein gravity, analogous to that for gauge theory arising from the Chalmers-Siegel action, leads to a perturbation theory about an asymmetric weak coupling limit that treats positive and negative helicities differently.

Twistor Theory and the Schlesinger Equations

open access: yes, 1993
We show that solutions of the Schlesinger equations correspond to holomorphic vector bundles on (subsets of) ℂℙ n that are invariant under the action of the diagonal subgroup of GL(n + 1, ℂ). As an application, we demonstrate that the Schlesinger equations are a reduction of the hyper-Kahler equations.
