Strain‐Activated Photo‐Dehalogenation Unlocks Low‐Energy One and Two‐Photon 3D Microfabrication

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
5,14‐NMI‐Cz acts, conversely to its 7,10‐NMI‐Cz(7,10‐'dibromo‐2‐(2,6‐diisopropylphenyl)‐1H‐benzo[lmn]carbazolo[9,1‐bc][2,8]phenanthroline‐1,3(2H)‐dione) counterpart, as modular photoinitiator with panchromatic photoactivity, featuring a weak C–Br bond from geometric strain for efficient Type I & II initiation. These studies demonstrate applicability of

Geometry of Kodaira moduli spaces

open access: yes, 1995
A general theorem on the existence of natural torsion-free affine connections on a complete family of compact complex submanifolds in a complex manifold is proved.

Two‐Dimensional Materials as a Multiproperty Sensing Platform

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Various sensing modalities enabled and/or enhanced by two‐dimensional (2D) materials are reviewed. The domains considered for sensing include: 1) optoelectronics, 2) quantum defects, 3) scanning probe microscopy, 4) nanomechanics, and 5) bio‐ and chemosensing.

3D conformal field theory in twistor space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
The aim of this paper is to study three dimensional Lorentzian conformal field theories in twistor space. We formulate the conformal Ward identities and solve for two and three point Lorentzian Wightman functions.

Robust Bio‐Textiles Via Mycelium‐Cellulose Interface Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work introduces a new class of sustainable textiles by growing mycelium, the root‐like structure of fungi, into cellulose‐based fabrics. This semi‐interpenetrating mycelium‐cellulose fiber network combines the strength and breathability of natural fibers with the water‐resistant and adhesive properties of mycelium, resulting in a robust, scalable,

Spinor algebra and null solutions of the wave equation

open access: yes, 2010
In this paper we exploit the ideas and formalisms of twistor theory, to show how, on Minkowski space, given a null solution of the wave equation, there are precisely two null directions in $\ker df$, at least one of which is a shear-free ray ...

Topological gauge theory and twistors

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1989
Abstract By use of harmonic superfields, Witten's topological gauge theory is written as a field theory on a supertwistor space. Further, using the realisation of complex compactified Minkowski space as a quadric in CP5, we show that the theory has a simple formulation in terms of analytic superfields on super-CP5 × CP3.

Spectrally Tunable 2D Material‐Based Infrared Photodetectors for Intelligent Optoelectronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Intelligent optoelectronics through spectral engineering of 2D material‐based infrared photodetectors. Abstract The evolution of intelligent optoelectronic systems is driven by artificial intelligence (AI). However, their practical realization hinges on the ability to dynamically capture and process optical signals across a broad infrared (IR) spectrum.

Towards the underlying gauge theory of the pure spinor superstring

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
Previous attempts to determine the worldsheet origin of the pure spinor formalism were not completely successful, but introduced important concepts that seem to be connected to its fundamental structure, e.g., emergent supersymmetry and the role of ...

Twistor relative locality [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present a version of relative locality based on the geometry of twistor space. This can also be thought of as a new kind of deformation of twistor theory based on the construction of a bundle of twistor spaces over momentum space.
