Actions for self-dual Higher Spin Gravities

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2021
Higher Spin Gravities are scarce, but covariant actions for them are even scarcer. We construct covariant actions for contractions of Chiral Higher Spin Gravity that represent higher spin extensions of self-dual Yang-Mills and self-dual Gravity theories.

Flexibility and Dynamicity Enhances and Controls Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Zinc(II) Metallogels

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Zinc(II) coordination complexes with tunable aryloxy‐imine ligands exhibit controllable supramolecular self‐assembly into hierarchical fibrous structures. Coordination‐driven stacking, not π–π interactions, enables gelation, dynamic assembly/disassembly, and enhanced nanomechanical properties.

A Direct Proof of BCFW Recursion for Twistor-Strings

open access: yes, 2010
This paper gives a direct proof that the leading trace part of the genus zero twistor-string path integral obeys the BCFW recursion relation. This is the first complete proof that the twistor-string correctly computes all tree amplitudes in maximally ...

MHV Vertices And Tree Amplitudes In Gauge Theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
As an alternative to the usual Feynman graphs, tree amplitudes in Yang-Mills theory can be constructed from tree graphs in which the vertices are tree level MHV scattering amplitudes, continued off shell in a particular fashion.

AdS Twistors for Higher Spin Theory [PDF]

open access: yesAIP Conference Proceedings, 2005
We construct spectra of supersymmetric higher spin theories in D=4, 5 and 7 from twistors describing massless (super-)particles on AdS spaces. A massless twistor transform is derived in a geometric way from classical kinematics. Relaxing the spin-shell constraints on twistor space gives an infinite tower of massless states of a ``higher spin particle'',

Ion‐Selective Microporous Membranes via One‐Step Copolymerization Enable High‐Performance Redox Flow Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A scalable one‐step copolymerization strategy is developed to produce low‐cost microporous ion exchange membranes that boost both the efficiency and lifespan of flow batteries. When combined with organic electrolytes in aqueous systems, these membranes enable safe and cheap flow battery energy storage, supporting the widespread integration of renewable

Synthesis and Electronic Structure of the Fractionally Occupied Double Perovskite EuTa2O6 with Ordered Europium Vacancies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Two‐dimensional electronic states are the foundation of modern semiconductor technology. Here, we report molecular‐beam epitaxy growth of fractional double perovskite, EuTa2O6. Reciprocal space mapping and transmission electron microscopy confirm a layered ordering of A‐site cations.

Quaternion Electromagnetism and the Relation with Two-Spinor Formalism

open access: yesUniverse, 2019
By using complex quaternion, which is the system of quaternion representation extended to complex numbers, we show that the laws of electromagnetism can be expressed much more simply and concisely.

Linear perturbations of quaternionic metrics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
We extend the twistor methods developed in our earlier work on linear deformations of hyperkahler manifolds [arXiv:0806.4620] to the case of quaternionic-Kahler manifolds.
