Iridium‐Catalysed C−H Borylation of Fluoroarenes: Insights into the Balance between Steric and Electronic Control of Regioselectivity

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 47, December 19, 2022., 2022
Iridium catalysed C−H borylation provides an effective method for late stage functionalization of fluorinated arenes and heteroarenes. The reaction occurs rapidly and efficiently with selectivity that can be best predicted using computed relative transition stage energies.

Synthesis and Reactivity of Bidentate N‐Heterocyclic Carbene‐Phosphinidene Supported Si(IV) Dicationic Complexes

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 2022, Issue 45, December 6, 2022., 2022
In this publication the utilization of bis(NHCP) ligands is expanded towards complexation of silicon precursors giving access to Si(IV) dications [2 a] and [2 b]. These complexes present the first examples of bis(NHCP)‐supported Si(IV) dications, showing expected high Lewis acidity.

Clustering and Measuring Consumption Emotions: Scale Development Through Text Mining and a Questionnaire Survey

open access: yesJournal of Consumer Behaviour, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This study aimed to develop the Korean Consumption Emotion List (KCEL), a contemporary scale for measuring discrete consumption emotions. While consumers increasingly seek emotional value in consumption, existing scales developed decades ago in Western contexts may not fully capture modern consumer emotions.

Nitrogen‐Rich Oxetanes Based on the Combination of Azides and Tetrazoles

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 26, Issue 1, January 2, 2023., 2023
Several new energetic oxetane derivatives with higher nitrogen contents than previously reported in the literature were synthesized and characterized. An azide group and a tetrazole moiety were introduced into the starting material oxetan‐3‐one to obtain a 3‐disubstituted oxetane.

Biodegradation of Juglone by Xanthomonas arboricola pv. juglandis, The Causal Agent of Walnut (Juglans regia L.) Bacterial Blight

open access: yesChemistry &Biodiversity, Accepted Article.
Xanthomonas arboricola pv. juglandis is the causal agent of walnut blight, a disease affecting Juglans regia L. cultivations by causing severe economic losses worldwide. The content of phenolic compounds in J. regia cultivars plays an important role in determining the resistance or susceptibility to the infection.
