Bis(phosphino)silyl nickel complexes featuring diethylphosphino donors on the tridentate PSiP ligand are effective pre‐catalysts for room temperature alkene hydroboration with HBPin. Terminal and geminal alkenes, including a wide scope of vinyl arenes, reacted to afford exclusively the linear, anti‐Markovnikov boronate ester product in all cases ...

Palladium‐Catalyzed Allylation of (Hetero)Aryl Fluorosulfates
Reported herein is the palladium‐catalyzed allylation of (hetero)aryl fluorosulfates. When employing a [Pd(cinnamyl)Cl]2/XantPhos catalyst system and using either allyl pinacolboronate or potassium allyltrifluoroborate, allyl (hetero)arene products were successfully prepared and isolated in synthetically useful yields, including examples featuring ...

Higher BODIPY Homologues – Synthesis, Reactivity and Photoluminescence Investigations
The synthesis of MesDPM group 13 (B–In, MesDPM = 1,5,9‐trimesityldipyrromethene) compounds with halide substituents (Cl–I) is described. All compounds were fully characterized including NMR and IR spectroscopy as well as mass spectrometry. In addition, the solid state molecular structures have been determined by X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis.
