Real‐World Longitudinal Data on the Impact of Hydroxychloroquine Blood Level Monitoring on Lupus Outcomes: Results of a Prospective Longitudinal Cohort Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is a cornerstone therapy in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), but the weight‐based dosing does not account for clinical factors that can introduce individual variability in drug metabolism and clearance. We leveraged longitudinal data from a prospective SLE cohort to identify clinical factors that predict ...

The Association of Physical Function With Psychosocial Patient‐Reported Outcomes in People With Systemic Lupus Erythematosus

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective To evaluate how modifiable psychosocial factors and fatigue relate to physical functioning in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). Methods In this cross‐sectional study of two demographically distinct cohorts (Approaches to Positive, Patient‐Centered Experiences of Aging with Lupus [APPEAL] and California Lupus Epidemiology Study

Safety of Prescription Nonsteroidal Anti‐inflammatory Drugs in Adults with Inflammatory Bowel Disease: Data from a Large Administrative Claims Cohort

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, Accepted Article.
Objectives The concern that nonsteroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) may precipitate flares of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has limited their use in managing musculoskeletal symptoms in this population, but safety data are mixed. Methods This retrospective cohort study included patients with IBD ≥ 18 years of age from Optum's de‐identified ...

On the Relativistic Two-body Problem [PDF]

open access: yesProgress of Theoretical Physics, 1953
where R=S-l. The other elements (PhPZ," ! R i1h' , pl) should vanish in order that the system becomes stationary. This will give a further restriction for the energy eigenvalues. It is a merit in the eq. (2) to show clearly the relation between the bound state problem and the Smatrix and therefore the renormalization procedure.

Experimental Evaluation of 100Cr6 Steel Microindented Surfaces Under Lubricated Nonconformal Point Contacts

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
The tribological behavior of 100Cr6 steel spheres textured via Vickers microindentation is evaluated under lubricated sliding by varying both dimple size and density. Fine and dense textures significantly reduce friction across all lubrication regimes, while large dimples increase it.

What Do Large Language Models Know About Materials?

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
If large language models (LLMs) are to be used inside the material discovery and engineering process, they must be benchmarked for the accurateness of intrinsic material knowledge. The current work introduces 1) a reasoning process through the processing–structure–property–performance chain and 2) a tool for benchmarking knowledge of LLMs concerning ...
