Fermi Surface Nesting and Anomalous Hall Effect in Magnetically Frustrated Mn2PdIn

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Mn2PdIn, a frustrated inverse Heusler alloy, showing electronic‐structure driven anomalous Hall effect with Weyl crossings, Fermi‐surface nesting and near‐zero magnetization ideal for low‐magnetization spintronics. Abstract Noncollinear magnets with near‐zero net magnetization and nontrivial bulk electronic topology hold significant promise for ...

Building a symbolic computer algebra toolbox to compute 2D Fourier transforms in polar coordinates

open access: yesMethodsX, 2015
The development of a symbolic computer algebra toolbox for the computation of two dimensional (2D) Fourier transforms in polar coordinates is presented. Multidimensional Fourier transforms are widely used in image processing, tomographic reconstructions ...

Extension theorems for the Fourier transform associated with non-degenerate quadratic surfaces in vector spaces over finite fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We study the restriction of the Fourier transform to quadratic surfaces in vector spaces over finite fields. In two dimensions, we obtain the sharp result by considering the sums of arbitrary two elements in the subset of quadratic surfaces on two ...

Mechanochemistry‐Assisted Solvent‐Free Supramolecular Engineering for Atomic‐Layered Carbon Nitride Nanosheets with Enhanced Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A solvent‐free mechanochemistry‐enabled supramolecular engineering strategy is developed to directly synthesize covalent‐interconnected two‐dimensional atomic‐layered carbon nitride nanosheets photocatalyst, bypassing conventional top‐down exfoliation requirements.

Coordinate axes, location of origin, and redundancy for the one and two-dimensional discrete Fourier transform [PDF]

open access: yes
Appendix 4 of the Study of One- and Two-Dimensional Filtering and Deconvolution Algorithms for a Streaming Array Computer discusses coordinate axes, location of origin, and redundancy for the one- and two-dimensional Fourier transform for complex and ...

Longitudinal momentum densities in transverse plane for nucleons

open access: yes, 2016
We present a study of longitudinal momentum densities ($p^+ \rm densities$) in the transverse impact parameter space for $u$ and $d$ quarks in both unpolarized and transversely polarized nucleons by taking a two dimensional Fourier transform of the ...

Miniature Nanomesh Mechano‐Acoustic Sensor with Wide Linear Dynamic Range, Broad Bandwidth, and Flat Frequency Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A miniaturized mechano‐acoustic sensor is developed using an electrospun PVDF nanomesh as the diaphragm in a capacitive sensor structure. Unlike conventional nanomesh‐based sensors, it achieves high linear sensitivity, a broad and flat frequency response, and a compact form factor.

Two-Dimensional Quaternionic Windowed Fourier Transform

open access: yes, 2011
Signal processing is a fast growing area today and the desired effectiveness in utilization of bandwidth and energy makes the progress even faster. Special signal processors have been developed to make it possible to implement the theoretical knowledge in an efficient way.

Fracture initiation in multi-phase materials: a systematic three-dimensional approach using a FFT-based solver

open access: yes, 2016
This paper studies a two-phase material with a microstructure composed of a hard brittle reinforcement phase embedded in a soft ductile matrix. It addresses the full three-dimensional nature of the microstructure and macroscopic deformation.

Supraparticles Composed of Graphitic Carbon Nitride Nanoparticles and Silica‐Supported Horseradish Peroxidase as Customizable Hybrid Catalysts for Photo‐Biocatalytic Cascade Reactions in Continuous Flow

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Herein presented supraparticles combine the nanoparticulate photocatalyst graphitic carbon nitride with the enzyme horseradish peroxidase, which is immobilized on silica nanoparticles. In an optimized compatibility range, both catalysts operate effectively within the hybrid supraparticles and catalyze a cascade reaction consisting of the photocatalytic
