Two hemispheres—two networks: a computational model explaining hemispheric asymmetries while reading ambiguous words

Annals of Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence, 2010
A computational model for reading that takes into account the different processing abilities of the two cerebral hemispheres is presented. This dual hemispheric reading model closely follows the original computational lines due to Kowamoto (J Mem Lang 32:474---516, 1993) but postulates a difference in architecture between the right and left hemispheres.

Development of the Tool for Generation of UML Class Diagram from Two-Hemisphere Model

2008 The Third International Conference on Software Engineering Advances, 2008
Nowadays, the research on the Model Driven Architecture is still in progress. One of the existing problems in this area is transformation between models of the Model Driven Architecture. This paper discusses the transformation from Platform Independent Model, received from Computation Independent Model, to the one, ready for generation of Platform ...

Several facilities of class diagram generation from two-hemisphere model in the framework of MDA

2008 23rd International Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences, 2008
In Object Management Group model driven architecture models are the primary artifacts during software development, which are presented at the different levels of abstraction from programming details. Class diagram is the most often used model for visual representation of static aspects of software system, but still the formal generation of class ...

Application of BPMN Instead of GRAPES for Two-Hemisphere Model Driven Approach

2010
Models and model transformations are defined as primary artifacts in OMG's Model Driven Architecture (MDA). The main idea of MDA is to sepa- rate the formal representation of the system, preserving the highest possible level of abstraction in the form of system model, as well as to transform this model to the level required for system implementation ...

Toward some new directions in Pc5 pulsation theory—II. Extension of the analysis to two hemispheres and determination of the model's polarization characteristics

Planetary and Space Science, 1980
Abstract The model of morning sector Pc5 pulsation activity developed in the companion paper is extended to account for both north and south ionospheres. The result is consistent with recent work by Allan and Knox (1979a and b). Using the spatial oscillation model proposed by McDiarmid (1979), the polarization properties of the model are determined ...

Teaching for America Across Two Hemispheres: Comparing the Ideological Appeal of the Teach for All Teacher Education Model in the United States and Brazil

Journal of Teacher Education, 2019
The last several decades have seen significant growth among private options in alternative teacher education and certification. In this article, I draw on two parallel ethnographic studies of the experiences of participants in variants of one particular alternative teacher education model, developed by Teach For America in the United States and spread

Two-Hemisphere Model Transformation- Based Generation of Web Application User Interface Prototype

The PhD Thesis proposes a solution for generating a source code of a Web application user interface prototype from a two-hemisphere model using model-driven software engineering principles. The development of a set of model transformation rules is based on the metamodel of the two-hemisphere model as a source model and the metamodel of the expected ...
