The number of circulating tumor cells obtained from prostate cancer patients was increased approximately 5‐fold compared to regular CellSearch when processing 2 mL diagnostic leukapheresis material aliquots and increased by 44‐fold when processing 20 mL DLA aliquots using the flow enrichment target capture Halbach‐array.

Modeling two-phase flow in barrels of weapons with combined charges
The processes occurring during the firing within barrels of weapons with combined charges are described aiming at the improvement of fire power of existing weapons and the design of new ones.

Time-Reversal of Coalescing Diffusive Flows and Weak Convergence of Localized Disturbance Flows [PDF]
We generalize the coalescing Brownian flow, aka the Brownian web, considered as a weak flow to allow varying drift and diffusivity in the constituent diffusion processes and call these flows coalescing diffusive flows. We then identify the time-reversal of each coalescing diffusive flow and provide two distinct proofs of this identification.

Quasi-Autoregressive Residual (QuAR) Flows [PDF]
Normalizing Flows are a powerful technique for learning and modeling probability distributions given samples from those distributions. The current state of the art results are built upon residual flows as these can model a larger hypothesis space than coupling layers.

Subpar reporting of pre‐analytical variables in RNA‐focused blood plasma studies
Pre‐analytical variables strongly influence the analysis of extracellular RNA (cell‐free RNA; exRNA) derived from blood plasma. Their reporting is essential to allow interpretation and replication of results. By evaluating 200 exRNA studies, we pinpoint a lack of reporting pre‐analytical variables associated with blood collection, plasma preparation ...

Tomographic imaging of two-phase flow
Two-phase flow is to be found in many situations of nuclear reactor operation and accident sequences. Examples are loss of coolant accidents and boiling in fuel assemblies.

Fluctuating Characteristics of Two-Phase Air-Water Slug Flow in Pressurized Pipelines [PDF]
Two-phase gas-liquid flows occur in a wide variety of situations, e.g., in chemical processing, power generation, water supply systems, and petroleum industry. The study of two-phase fluid flows is of great importance in hydraulic engineering.

When $\alpha$ is a flow on a unital AF algebra $A$ such that there is an increasing sequence of finite-dimensional $\alpha$-invariant C*-subalgebras of $A$ with dense union, we call $\alpha$ an AF flow. We show that an approximate AF flow is a cocycle perturbation of an AF flow.

Ensemble Distribution for Immiscible Two-Phase Flow in Porous Media
We construct an ensemble distribution to describe steady immiscible two-phase flow of two incompressible fluids in a porous medium. The system is found to be ergodic. The distribution is used to compute macroscopic flow parameters. In particular, we find

Cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) promote cancer growth, invasion (metastasis), and drug resistance. Here, we identified functional and diverse circulating CAFs (cCAFs) in patients with metastatic prostate cancer (mPCa). cCAFs were found in higher numbers and were functional and diverse in mPCa patients versus healthy individuals, suggesting their ...
