We consider the flavor-diagonal neutrino--two-photon vertex in the standard model. Whereas for massless neutrinos this vertex is of order {ital G}{sub {ital F}}{alpha}{ital p}{sub {nu}}/{ital m}{sub {ital W}}{sup 2}, for massive neutrinos a contribution to this amplitude of order {ital G}{sub {ital F}}{alpha}{ital m}{sub {nu}}/{ital m}{sub {ital e ...

We report two-photon correlation experiments using spontaneous parametric down-conversion under a severe manipulation of the input pump field. Considering the case of passing the laser beam through a focusing lens before the down-conversion crystal, theoretical calculations and a series of imaging experiments demonstrate two-photon geometric optics ...

TWO-PHOTON–INDUCED FLUORESCENCE
Annual Review of Physical Chemistry, 1997▪ Abstract Nonresonant two-photon electronic spectroscopy of polyatomic molecules is reviewed for the period since 1979. Emphasis is placed on studies that expose patterns in the two-photon fluorescence (also ionization, optoacoustic) excitation spectra of aromatic hydrocarbons and the effect of vibrations and substitution, particularly within the ...

Two-photon transitions with cascades: Two-photon transition rates and two-photon level widths
Physical Review A, 2014An ambiguity of the separation of cascades from ``pure'' two-photon decay is confirmed with accurate numerical calculations in a gauge-invariant way. A direct evaluation of the two-photon decay width of excited states in H-like ions via the imaginary part of two-loop self-energy is presented.

The two-photon emission spectrum of a strongly driven two-level atom is defined and calculated. Such a spectrum reveals details of non-Markovian dynamics which are not observable in the usual experiments. It is shown that a clear separation of Markovian and non-Markovian regimes is possible in the two-photon emission spectrum.

Two-photon light shift and two-photon Lamb dips
Soviet Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1978Light-induced resonance frequency shifts of atoms and molecules under off-resonance conditions are considered. The results are reported of the application of a cross-saturation method to shifts inside a Doppler profile of an atomic helium line. Two-photon Lamb dips are reported and these require perturbation theory calculations up to the fifth ...

Two-Photon Absorbing Materials and Two-Photon-Induced Chemistry
2008Two-photon absorption, the process by which an excited molecule or material is produced by the simultaneousabsorption of two photons, has been studied extensively in recent years, from both fundamental and applicationpoints of view. On one side, the field has been expanded with the measurement of two-photon absorptionspectra and cross sections for a ...
