Optimization of Fuel Injection Control System of Two-Stroke Aeroengine of UAV

open access: yesComplexity, 2020
Power efficiency of two-stroke spark-ignition engine is generally low because improper amount of fuel injection leads to a lot of unburned fuel loss during the engine working process.

Solar engine [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
A solar engine is disclosed in which a fluid, which is first heated and then cooled, forces a piston outward as the fluid is heated, and then draws the piston inward as the fluid is cooled. The piston is connected to a shaft and produces work as it moves

Cat‐Vibrissa‐Inspired Biomass Fiber Aerogels for Flexible and Highly Sensitive Sensors in Monitoring Human Sport

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Inspired by cat vibrissae, biomimetic biomass PHFs/SA aerogels (BFAs) are developed via precursor‐assisted in situ polymerization and freeze‐synergistic assembly. These ultralight, porous pressure sensors exhibit high sensitivity and excellent durability, enabling pulse detection, handwriting recognition, Morse code transmission, and notably real‐time ...

THE EFFICIENCY OF WORKING CYCLES IN THE RAPID INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH THE EXTENDED WORKING STROKE

open access: yesNauka ta progres transportu, 2020
Purpose: The investigation covers the efficiency of working cycles in the rapid internal combustion engine with the extended working stroke. The extended working stroke is applied in so-called Atkinson/Miller engines that are considered to be more ...

Geometrically Templated, Ultra‐Lightweight and High Strength Soap Films from Lyotropic Liquid Crystalline Graphene Oxide/Polymer Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellular materials form spontaneously by dip coating the primitive triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) wireframe in an aqueous solution of lyotropic liquid crystalline graphene oxide (GO) nanosheets mixed with polymers. Regulated by surface tension, GO nanosheets align on the polymer soap film as the stress builds up during drying.

Scavenge flow analysis of opposed-piston two-stroke engine based on dynamic characteristics

open access: yesAdvances in Mechanical Engineering, 2015
Opposed-piston two-stroke engine has been proposed by Beijing Institute of Technology to improve power density and complete machine balance relative to conventional engines. In order to study opposed-piston two-stroke engine scavenging flow, a scavenging

Buckling‐Resistant and Trace‐Stacked (BRATS) Design Enables Aid‐Free Implantation of Flexible Multielectrode Array with Minimized Inflammatory Tissue Response

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Buckling‐resistant and trace‐stacked (BRATS) intracortical microelectrode arrays (MEAs) eliminate the need for insertion aid and complex surgical setup, resulting in minimal inflammatory tissue response, compared to conventional flexible MEAs inserted with aid. Trace stacking effectively doubled the channel count without increasing the MEA shank width,

At‐Home Early Diagnosis of Mastitis: Calibration‐Free Analysis of Sodium to Potassium Ratio in Breast Milk

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
MAMAWEL is introduced as the first calibration‐free potentiometric sensor for at‐home mastitis diagnosis. By measuring the sodium‐to‐potassium ratio in breast milk, the device reliably differentiates between healthy and mastitis‐affected samples with less than 10% error.
