Two-stroke Quantum Measurement Heat Engine
We propose and analyze the theoretical model for a two-stroke quantum heat engine with one of the heat baths replaced by a non-selective quantum measurement. We show that the engine's invariant reference state depends on whether the cycle is monitored or unmonitored via diagnostic measurements to determine the engine's work output. We explore in detail

Substrate Engineering for Durable Omniphobic Liquid‐Like Surfaces
The significant yet less investigated role of substrates in determining the liquid‐repellency and mechanical durability of liquid‐like surfaces (LLSs) is explored. Thick and crack‐free sol–gel silica intermediary layers are developed that can smoothen substrate asperity roughness even at the micron scale, enabling omniphobic polydimethylsiloxane‐based ...

Simulation of a two-stroke diesel engine for propulsion in waves
AbstractPropulsion in waves is a complex physical process that involves interactions between a hull, a propeller, a shaft and a prime mover which is often a diesel engine. Among the relevant components, the diesel engine plays an important role in the overall system dynamics. Therefore, using a proper model for the diesel engine is essential to achieve

Optimization of Fuel Injection Control System of Two-Stroke Aeroengine of UAV
Power efficiency of two-stroke spark-ignition engine is generally low because improper amount of fuel injection leads to a lot of unburned fuel loss during the engine working process.
