ABSTRACT Background PIK3CA‐related overgrowth spectrum (PROS) includes several rare overgrowth disorders resulting from somatic gain‐of‐function mutations in PIK3CA. Despite treatment advances, including the recent approval of alpelisib for PROS in the United States, literature detailing the patient experience with PROS is limited.

Inequalities for Mean Values in Two Variables
We present various inequalities for means in two variables. One of our results states that the inequalities $$ 0\leq \frac{1}{M_r} -\frac{1}{M_s} \leq \frac{1}{G}-\frac {1}{A } \quad{(r,s\geq 0)} $$ hold for all $x,y>0$ if and only if $0\leq s-r\leq 1$.

Schur-harmonic convexity for differences of some special means in two variables [PDF]
In the paper, the authors find Schur-harmonic convexity of linear combinations of differences between some means such as the arithmetic, geometric, harmonic, and root-square means, and establish some inequalities related to these means and differences.

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

ABSTRACT Background Osteosarcoma (OS) and Ewing sarcoma (EWS) are the most common primary bone cancers in children, but acute thrombosis is poorly characterized in this population. Our study evaluated the rates of venous thromboembolism (VTE) and associated risk factors in pediatric patients with bone sarcomas treated over a 10‐year period encompassing

Measuring food sovereignty of sunflower oil in Egypt (Toda-Yamamoto causality test) [PDF]
The research attempts to answer the following question: “Can food sovereignty from sunflower oil be achieved in Egypt in the long term?” Or “Is it possible to achieve a long-term balanced relationship between the quantity of sunflower oil production and ...

ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Some identities of degenerate Euler polynomials associated with degenerate Bernstein polynomials
In this paper, we investigate some properties and identities for degenerate Euler polynomials in connection with degenerate Bernstein polynomials by means of fermionic p-adic integrals on Zp $\mathbb{Z}_{p}$ and generating functions.

ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...
