On a mean value of a multiplicative function of two variables
Advanced Studies in Pure Mathematics, 2019 We prove the existence of a mean value of arithmetical functions of two variables : $\lim_{x, y \to \infty} (xy)^{-1} \sum_{m \le x, n \le y} f(m, n)$ under some conditions, and, when $f$ is a multiplicative function of two variables, express the mean value as an infinite product over all primes.

FEBS Letters, EarlyView.This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
