U.S. POINTER Study: Adherence to a Multidomain Health Behavior Change Intervention

open access: yesAlzheimer's &Dementia, Volume 21, Issue S6, December 2025.
Abstract Background U.S. POINTER was a multisite randomized controlled trial testing the impact of multidomain lifestyle intervention on cognitive function in cognitively unimpaired older adults at risk for cognitive decline and dementia. Here we present the intervention adherence data. Methods U.S.

Affordable phenomics: Expanding access to enhancing genetic gain in plant breeding

open access: yesThe Plant Phenome Journal, Volume 8, Issue 1, December 2025.
Abstract Plant breeders need to evaluate large breeding populations rapidly and accurately to identify and assess genetic variation responsible for many traits, including yield, quality, resistance, and climate resilience. Although advanced molecular tools, including marker‐assisted selection, genomic selection, and gene editing, are being used to ...

Complications following total wrist replacement: A single-center retrospective review

open access: yesJournal of Orthopaedics, Trauma and Rehabilitation
Background/Purpose: Total wrist replacement (TWR) is an alternative to wrist fusion in advance wrist arthritis with the advantage of preserving the wrist motion. TWR is, however, infrequently performed in Asia-Pacific region. This study aimed to describe

Comparative Phylogeography of Phrynosomatid Lizards in Baja California: Asynchronous Divergences and Expansion of Callisaurus draconoides Across the North American Deserts

open access: yesJournal of Biogeography, Volume 52, Issue 12, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Aim We tested whether co‐distributed phrynosomatid lizards in the Baja California Peninsula (BCP) share synchronous phylogeographic discontinuities, as predicted by the “peninsular archipelago” hypothesis, and examined the diversification of Callisaurus draconoides throughout its range.

Preliminary time-phased TWRS process model results [PDF]

open access: yes, 1995
This report documents the first phase of efforts to model the retrieval and processing of Hanford tank waste within the constraints of an assumed tank farm configuration. This time-phased approach simulates a first try at a retrieval sequence, the batching of waste through retrieval facilities, the batching of retrieved waste through enhanced sludge ...

Infection risk in atopic dermatitis patients treated with biologics and JAK inhibitors: BioDay results

open access: yesJournal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Volume 39, Issue 12, Page 2056-2068, December 2025.
This cohort study of 1793 atopic dermatitis patients (aged ≥ 12) found higher infection rates with Janus kinase inhibitor treatment compared to biologic treatment, particularly for herpes infections, with a history of viral or fungal skin infection as a risk factor associated with infection.

The Traveling Wave Reactor: Design and Development

open access: yesEngineering, 2016
The traveling wave reactor (TWR) is a once-through reactor that uses in situ breeding to greatly reduce the need for enrichment and reprocessing. Breeding converts incoming subcritical reload fuel into new critical fuel, allowing a breed-burn wave to ...
