A New Species of Telotylenchus (Nematoda: Tylenchida)

A new species of the genus Telotylenchus Siddiqi, 1960 is described, viz. T. ventralis, occurring in a cereal field in the Netherlands. Its chief distinguishing character is the peculiar ventral thickening of the cuticle just anterior to the vulva, followed by a contraction of the body.

Bu çalışmada Ağustos-1991'de Kızılcahamam(Ankara) ve Nisan-1997'de Gönen(Balıkesir) ilçelerindeki çeltik(Oryza sativa L.) ekiliş alanlarından alınan 20 adet toprak örneği incelenmiştir. Alınan örneklerden elde edilen bitki paraziti nematodlardan Tylenchidae(Tylenchida:Nematoda) familyasına ait türlerin teşhisleri yapılmıştır.
