Reconfigurable Inflatables Through Controlled Surface Crumpling
ABSTRACT Inflatable structures offer remarkable versatility due to their compact storage and rapid deployment, making them ideal for lightweight, quickly assembled, and deployable applications. These structures are typically made from membranes that are nearly inextensible yet highly flexible.

What's in a Typeface? Evidence of the Existence of Print Personalities in Arabic
Previous research suggests that different typefaces can be perceived as having distinct personality characteristics (such as strength, elegance, friendliness, romance, and humor) and that these “print personalities” elicit information in the reader that ...

Decoding Spatial Heterogeneity and Multi‐Omics Regulation with Hierarchical Graph Learning
ABSTRACT Recent advances in spatial multi‐omics technologies have enabled the simultaneous profiling of multiple molecular layers within the same tissue slice, providing unprecedented opportunities to investigate tissue spatial organization. However, most existing computational methods identify spatial domains in a purely data‐driven manner, rarely ...

Palmitoylation by ZDHHC18 blocks ORF3a K27‐linked ubiquitination mediated by TRIM16, thereby preventing its proteasomal degradation and strengthening viral pathogenesis. Targeting palmitoylation through a pharmacological inhibitor (2‐BP), a competitive inhibitory peptide (OPIP), or adenovirus‐mediated knockdown of ZDHHC18 expression presents a ...

Histone Modification Complex JMJ704‐HDA709 Negatively Regulates Salinity Tolerance in Rice
This study reveals that the rice histone demethylase JMJ704 interacts with HDA709―a H3K9ac deacetylase characterized herein―to form a chromatin‐modifying complex. Under salt stress, OsWRKY72 recruits this complex through interaction with JMJ704 to target loci, repressing the expression of oxidative stress and salt‐responsive genes via removal of ...

A new data‐efficient framework combining DFT calculations, a neural network model, and automated graph analysis of catalytic reaction networks is proposed and applied to CO2 hydrogenation on transition metal nanoparticles. The analysis shows how efficient C2 oxygenate production requires a balance between CHx formation, C–C coupling, protonation, and ...

We present a chromosome‐level genome assembly of Siraitia grosvenorii and, through comparative genomics, uncover a conserved UGT73 tandem array driving triterpenoid saponin diversification in Cucurbitaceae. Crystalized SgUGT73AM30 further reveals the regioselectivity mechanism underlying its catalytic activity.

Universal Typeface. Innovation without Style
The Bauhaus (1919-1933) has marked history. This school was animated by some of the most significant Twentieth-century artist-designers, from Gropius to Kandinskij, from Itten to Moholy-Nagy, not related to an unambiguous approach.
