Load Matching Of Sectional Type Piezoelectric Cantilever Beam
2020 15th Symposium on Piezoelectrcity, Acoustic Waves and Device Applications (SPAWDA), 2021In the mechanical analysis, cantilever beams are often used as the simplified models. In addition to being a basic vibration analysis model, the cantilever beam structure can also be used as a driving component. When the energy generated by the vibration of the cantilever is used to drive a load, how to make the load obtain more energy and optimize the

Reexamination of Mohnian Type Section: ABSTRACT
AAPG Bulletin, 1973Examination of 471 samples collected from the Modelo Formation exposed along Topanga Canyon Boulevard has shown that two of the foraminiferal zones of the Mohnian as published by Kleinpell are in need of revision. As a result of detailed sampling, many more foraminifer-bearing samples allowed the reevaluation of the faunal ranges through the Modelo ...

Cross-Sectional and Other Types of Studies
1996Abstract In a cross-sectional, or prevalence, study, exposure status and disease status are 1I1easured at one time or over a short period of time in the participants. Prevalence rates among those with and without the exposure or at varying levels of exposure are then determined and compared.

A New Type of Slotted Line Section
Proceedings of the IRE, 1950Conventional slotted lines require very close machining tolerances and care in construction if accurate measurements of VSWR (voltage standing-wave ratio) are to be obtained. A much less critical slotted line may be obtained by use of the transformation w=tan z.

Response of Multiple Seizure Types to Corpus Callosum Section
Epilepsia, 1987Summary: Twenty‐four patients (16 men, 8 women) underwent corpus callosum section specifically for improvement of control of atonic or tonic seizures that resulted in falls and injuries. All patients suffered from multiple seizure types, including complex partial (CP) and tonic‐clonic (TC) seizures, in addition to the tonic or atonic episodes ...

Calculation of cross sections measured in recoil-type experiments
Physical Review A, 1994We present convergent close-coupling calculations of low-energy unpolarized electrons scattering elastically on sodium atoms in a polarized or unpolarized 3[ital P] state. We find that the polarization of the target has little effect on the calculated differential cross sections.

Effect of type of anesthesia on blood loss at cesarean section
International Journal of Gynecology & Obstetrics, 1987Halogenated anesthetic agents have been used to supplement nitrous oxide during balanced general anesthesia for cesarean delivery to decrease maternal awareness. However, these agents can interfere with uterine contractility and hence have the potential to increase blood loss at the time of cesarean section.

The Soldado Rock Type Section of Eocene
The Journal of Geology, 1929The Soldado Rock section is a valuable stratigraphic key to basal and Upper Eocene of Northern South America. Of the six beds Nos. 2, 6, and 8 are fossiliferous. No. 2 was placed in basal Eocene (Maury, 1912) and correlated with Alabama Midway beds and Marina Farinha beds of Pernambuco.

Type Section of Bainbridge Formation of Southeastern Missouri
AAPG Bulletin, 1939The type section of the Bainbridge formation of southeastern Missouri is about one mile south of Moccasin Springs. The Bainbridge includes some red, strongly mottled, argillaceous limestones; some poorly bedded, greenish gray earthy limestones; and a conspicuous unit of finely laminated dark brown shale in which Cyrtograptus ulrichi Ruedemann is the ...
