Climate‐Related Disclosure and Bank Performance: Does Bank Type Matter?

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT This paper investigates whether climate‐related disclosure (CRD) affects the financial performance of conventional banks (CBs) and Islamic banks (IBs) differently. Electrochemical Design of Atomically Conformal Ga2O3 Buffer Layers via Cu2O‐Catalyzed Nitrate Reduction Reaction for Efficient Cu2O Photocathodes

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Cu2O catalyzes nitrate reduction to locally generate OH− at the electrode surface, enabling the first uniform electrochemical deposition of Ga2O3. The Cu2O/Ga2O3‐based photocathodes achieve onset potentials above 1 VRHE, 3.8% solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency, and stable operation for over 60 h in all‐inorganic tandem PEC devices.

Deciphering Polarity Effects of Polymer to Regulate Li+ Ionic Environment in Solid Polymer Electrolytes for Solid‐State Lithium Batteries

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
We elucidate the fundamental influences of polymer polarity on Li+ ionic environments in solid polymer electrolytes by considering four critical components: Li+, FSI−, residual solvents, and polymer matrix. Beyond facilitating LiFSI dissociation and Li+ transport, our findings underscore previously overlooked roles of polymer polarity, thereby ...
