Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) for monitoring soil erosion in Morocco [PDF]
This article presents an environmental remote sensing application using a UAV that is specifically aimed at reducing the data gap between field scale and satellite scale in soil erosion monitoring in Morocco. A fixed-wing aircraft type Sirius I (MAVinci,

A Proposed System for Multi-UAVs in Remote Sensing Operations
This paper proposes the design of the communications, control systems, and navigation algorithms of a multi-UAV system focused on remote sensing operations. A new controller based on a compensator and a nominal controller is designed to dynamically regulate the UAVs’ attitude.

GPS Remote Sensing Measurements Using Aerosonde UAV [PDF]
In February 2004, a NASA-Langley GPS Remote Sensor (GPSRS) unit was flown on an Aerosonde unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) from the Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) in Virginia. Using direct and surface-reflected 1.575 GHz coarse acquisition (C/A) coded GPS signals, remote sensing measurements were obtained over land and portions of open water.

Investigation on the automatic geo-referencing of archaeological UAV photographs by correlation with pre-existing ortho-photos [PDF]
We present a method for the automatic geo-referencing of archaeological photographs captured aboard unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), termed UPs. We do so by help of pre-existing ortho-photo maps (OPMs) and digital surface models (DSMs).

Noise and Restoration of UAV Remote Sensing Images [PDF]
Remotely sensed images captured from a camera mounted on a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) are exposed to noise caused by internal factors, such as the UAV system itself or external factors such as atmospheric conditions. Such images need to be restored before they can undergo further processing stages.
