Optimal control of UCG is one way for increasing of effectiveness the transformation coal to syngas. Process control system has been developed in UCG laboratory. Feedback optimal control was developed as system with two levels.

UCG is the process, which can be attractive from environmental and economic aspect and is able to have a wide utilization in the future. This technology is less expensive than conventional mining.
