Cancer heterogeneity explored through immune cell deconvolution of the tumor microenvironment
Abstract Cancer is a highly heterogeneous disease, characterized by significant variability across multiple dimensions. This diversity has been extensively studied from various perspectives. In this study, we aim to examine cancer heterogeneity through the lens of immune cell composition within the tumor microenvironment.

UCSpv: principled voting in UCS rule populations
Credit assignment is a fundamental issue for the Learning Classifier Systems literature. We engage in a detailed investigation of credit assignment in one recent system called UCS, and in the process uncover two previously undocumented features.

TCF/LEF family transcription factors: Molecular landscape and prognostic scoring in pan‐cancer
This study provides a comprehensive molecular landscape of TCF/LEF family transcription factors across 33 cancer types. We developed a TCF/LEF‐based prognostic score that correlates with immune infiltration, metabolic reprogramming and drug sensitivity, offering a robust transcriptomic signature for predicting patient survival and therapeutic response.

Associative Basis of UCS Preexposure in Excitatory and Inhibitory Rabbit Eyelid Conditioning [PDF]
Exposure to the unconditional stimulus (UCS) prior to its pairing with the conditional stimulus (CS) retards subsequent excitatory conditional response (CR) acquisition in a variety of Pavlovian conditioning preparations.

ABSTRACT Uterine carcinosarcoma (UCS), also known as malignant mixed Müllerian tumor (MMMT), is a biphasic neoplasm characterized by the presence of carcinomatous (epithelial) and sarcomatous (stromal tissue) elements. It frequently presents at an advanced stage and can mimic primary ovarian carcinoma on clinical and radiological evaluation ...

UCS Proteins: Managing the Myosin Motor
Recent studies indicate that myosin molecular motors interact inside cells with proteins containing a conserved ‘UCS’ domain. This appears to ensure proper folding of myosin heads so that they can perform their ATP-dependent actin-based motor ...

Metamaterial Antennas Enhance MRI of the Eye and Occipital Brain
A radiofrequency antenna platform comprising planar and bend configurations is developed, incorporating structurally integrated epsilon‐negative metamaterial unit cells to enhance MRI. These antennas enable high‐resolution in vivo human MRI of the eye, orbit, and occipital brain. Comprehensive validation, including simulations, phantom experiments, SAR,
