Proceedings of the 9th annual conference companion on Genetic and evolutionary computation, 2007
This paper presents Fuzzy-UCS, a Michigan-style Learning Fuzzy-Classifier System designed for supervised learning tasks. Fuzzy-UCS combines the generalization capabilities of UCS with the good interpretability of fuzzy rules to evolve highly accurate and understandable rule sets.

Thermionic properties of UC, UCZrC and Ta
Advanced Energy Conversion, 1963Abstract Using planar diode geometry and long pulse measuring techniques, a study has been made of thermionic emission from samples of UC, UCZrC and Ta. Richardson constants deduced for UC ( A 55·5 φ 3·11) and Ta A 47·1 φ 4·12) are in fair agreement with values obtained by other investigators.

CHROMATIC DISCRIMINATION THRESHOLDS OBSERVED IN CAM02-UCS AND CAM16-UCS
Proceedings of the Conference CIE 2021, 2021In our study chromatic discrimination thresholds of normal colour observers measured with the Trivector test of the Cambridge Colour Test were analysed. Chromaticity coordinates were transformed from the CIE (1976) u’v’ diagram to the CAM02-UCS and CAM16-UCS colour spaces, where colour differences were calculated.

Chapter four deals with the UCS work-in: an event to which Jimmy Reid owes his fame and his place in the pantheon of Scottish radicalism. Although he was not the only leader of the workforce, it was his powers of communication and leadership which became the symbol of the coalition of resistance that developed on the Clyde in response to the Tory ...

Abstract A waveform generator is described which produces a triangular wave of continuously varying frequency ranging from 20–30 KHz. Suitably amplified, this sound was shown to be an effective noxious UCS for laboratory rats while inaudible to man.
