Abstract Background Extracellular vesicles (EVs), especially exosomes, are nanoparticles increasingly recognized as key regulators of intercellular communication in both physiological and pathological aspects. Despite rapid progress, inconsistencies in nomenclature, isolation, and characterization continue to restrict translational advancement.

Influence of uron resins on the performance of UF resins as adhesives for plywood
Uron resin, a kind of urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin containing much more uron structure, were prepared. Several modified UF resins were obtained from mixing uron resins with normal UF resins as well as synthesizing UF resin with uron resin as raw material.

Copolymerization of UF Resins with Dimethylurea for Improving Storage Stability without Impairing Adhesive Performance [PDF]
Urea-formaldehyde (UF) resins are the most used resins in the wood industry due to high reactivity and low price. However, their reduced stability during storage is a drawback, imposing strict limits in terms of allowable shipping distances and storage times. This instability, manifested by viscosity increase that renders the resin unusable, occurs due

Nano Carbon‐mesh with Excellent Bonding Performance via Hydro‐cage De‐shielding Strategy
A hydro‐cage de‐shielding strategy transforms cellulose‐based films into a dragonfly‐wing‐like nano carbon‐mesh (NCM) adhesive through instantaneous carbonization‐polymerization. The resulting NCM‐plywood achieves exceptional wet shear strength (1.24 MPa at 63°C), exceeding Class II plywood standards, and retains 0.73 MPa after boiling‐water cycles ...

Effects of Stromal Cell‐Derived Factor 1 on Osteoblast Activity During Orthodontic Tooth Movement
ABSTRACT Objective This study aimed to clarify the relationship between stromal cell‑derived factor 1 (SDF‑1) and osteoblast‐related responses in periodontal ligament (PDL) during orthodontic tooth movement (OTM) after tooth extraction, based on the hypothesis that local inhibition of SDF‑1/C‑X‑C chemokine receptor type 4 (CXCR4) signaling with the ...

The effect of the amount and type of curing agent on the basic properties of UF resin
Abstract In this study, the effects of four single-component curing agents on the basic properties of UF resins were investigated. The basic properties include pH, gel time and valid period. The studies have shown that different curing agent types and additions have different effects on the basic properties of urea-formaldehyde resins ...
