5G Channel Estimation Based on Whale Optimization Algorithm
This paper presents a novel approach, based on the whale optimization algorithm (WOA), for channel estimation in wireless communication systems. The proposed method provides a means to accurately estimate the wireless channel, while not requiring the statistical characteristics of the channel.

Nowadays, multicarrier modulation schemes are being widely used in wireless communication system than single‐carrier modulation techniques. Single‐carrier modulation schemes are less capable of dealing with multipath fading channels than multicarrier modulation schemes, which results in lower spectral efficiency.
