Next Generation 7 Tesla Arterial Spin Labeling With Rotated Spiral Acquisition Enables Mesoscale Resolution in 3D Brain Perfusion and Functional MRI

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 5, Page 2702-2717, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To achieve high resolution (≤ 1 mm isotropic) whole‐brain perfusion imaging at 7 T with next generation ASL pulse sequence, reconstruction algorithm, and MRI hardware. Methods We capitalized on three major innovations: (1) FLASH‐based pseudo‐Continuous ASL (pCASL) sequence with rotated golden‐angle stack‐of‐spirals (rGA‐SoS) sampling; (

Spin- and charge-density waves in the Hartree-Fock ground state of the two-dimensional Hubbard model

open access: yes, 2011
The ground states of the two-dimensional repulsive Hubbard model are studied within the unrestricted Hartree-Fock (UHF) theory. Magnetic and charge properties are determined by systematic, large-scale, exact numerical calculations, and quantified as a ...

Deuterium 1‐Channel Transmit/16‐Channel High Impedance Receive Array Combined With 16‐Channel 1H Dual‐Row Transceiver Array for 7 Tesla Brain Imaging

open access: yesMagnetic Resonance in Medicine, Volume 95, Issue 5, Page 3021-3030, May 2026.
ABSTRACT Purpose To develop and evaluate an 2H/1H coil configuration that enables deuterium metabolic imaging at 7 T while preserving high‐quality 1H anatomical imaging. Methods An 16‐channel 2H high‐impedance receive array was combined with a 2H transmit birdcage and a 16‐channel dual‐row 1H transceiver array.

Unified description of floppy and rigid rotating Wigner molecules formed in quantum dots

open access: yes, 2003
Restoration of broken circular symmetry is used to explore the characteristics of the ground states and the excitation spectra of rotating Wigner molecules (RWM's) formed in two-dimensional parabolic N-electron quantum dots.

Effects of ethanol on non‐invasively recorded cerebellar, cerebral, and postural responses to axial perturbation: A case study

open access: yesPhysiological Reports, Volume 14, Issue 9, May 2026.
Abstract We report for the first time non‐invasively recorded ethanol (EtOH) induced changes in the spontaneous and evoked activity of the human cerebellum. We recorded electroencephalography (EEG), electro‐cerebellography (ECeG), lower limb electro‐myography (EMG), and posturography in a 64 year old adult male before and after oral ingestion of EtOH ...

Estimation of dielectric constant for various standard materials using microstrip ring resonator [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
Microstrip ring resonator (MRR) is known for dielectric constant determination and many studies used Teflon as a standard sample. However, there are many other materials available which able to perform better or equivalence as the Teflon in calibrating ...

Rational Device Design and Doping‐Controlled Performance in Fast‐Response π‐Ion Gel Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 29, 9 April 2026.
π‐Ion gel transistors (PIGTs) achieve extraordinary transconductance and stability through device configuration optimization, high‐mobility conjugated polymer selection, and hole scavenger doping. The optimized PIGTs maintain performance on flexible substrates, enabling printed, fast‐response, and wearable electronics.
