A monolithic UHF RFID transceiver for mobile UHF RFID readers

2016 International Conference on Integrated Circuits and Microsystems (ICICM), 2016
According to the protocol of ISO/IEC 18000-6C, a monolithic UHF RFID transceiver is designed, in a standard 0.18gm RF CMOS process, in which a receiver, a transmitter and a frequency synthesizer are integrated. The direct-conversion receiver consists of a LNA, down-conversion mixers, DCOCs, LPFs and PGAs.

UHF RFID chip measurement

2016 IEEE International Conference on RFID (RFID), 2016
In this paper a method to test and measure UHF RFID system is presented. The proposed method allows to characterize a RFID UHF tag independently of its antenna. It does not need additional matching circuit and can be used on an automatic prober. Moreover, its main advantages are to determine the characteristics of the chip while the latter is working ...

UWB/UHF RFID tag

2015 Loughborough Antennas & Propagation Conference (LAPC), 2015
This paper presents a two-port antenna for a passive RFID tag including separate receiving and transmitting ports for direct connection to a hybrid UHF/UWB RFID transponder chip. The receiving port feed is linearly polarized and narrowband for energy harvesting (from a conventional RFID reader), whereas the transmitting port feeds ultrawideband (UWB ...
