Reinforced concrete (RC) slabs represent integral structural components extensively employed in architectural and infrastructural frameworks owing to their inherent robustness and longevity. In contemporary times, there has been a pronounced surge in endeavors aimed at comprehensively elucidating the anti‐impact properties inherent in RC slabs.

Evaluation of UHPFRC activation energy using empirical models [PDF]
The influence of thermal curing on the evolution of the material properties and the UHPFRC behaviour was investigated. Tests results showed a beneficial effect of a high temperature curing on the early age material properties due to the thermo-activation

Inclusion of Inverse Terms in Design of Experiments for Mixtures Applied to Wood Plastic Composites
Wood–plastic composites (WPCs) are materials that combine a polymeric phase with a filler, typically wood powder or fiber. This common practice significantly enhances certain mechanical properties of WPCs, such as tensile, compressive, and flexural strength, especially when coupling agents are added.

Size effect on the flexural behavior of UHPFRC beams and RC beams strengthened with UHPFRC
Abstract The presence of fibers in Ultra-High-Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete (UHPFRC) considerably affects the mechanical behavior of structural elements constructed from this material. While the flexural strength of traditional reinforced concrete beams is size-independent, this is not the case for UHPFRC.
