Periodic spatial variation of the electron-phonon interaction in epitaxial graphene on Ru(0001 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We have performed low temperature scanning tunnelling spectroscopy (STS) measurements on graphene epitaxially grown on Ru(0001). An inelastic feature, related to the excitation of a vibrational breathing mode of the graphene lattice, was found at 360 meV.

Hydrogen‐Bond‐Rich Supramolecular Multiblock Copolymers Facilitate Rapid Zn2+ Migration in Quasi‐Solid‐State Zinc‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The disordered growth of dendrites, corrosion, parasitic side reactions, slow de‐solvation kinetics, and inherent safety risks significantly hinder the practical deployment of conventional liquid electrolyte zinc‐ion batteries. In contrast, the novel PU‐EG+DMPA‐Zn polyurethane quasi‐solid‐state electrolyte, enriched with abundant polar functional ...

Application of Partial Discharge Critical Monitoring Technology in Internal Defect Detection of Ultra-high Voltage Reactors

open access: yesZhejiang dianli, 2022
Two cases of abnormal acetylene content rise in the oil chromatogram of ultra-high voltage reactors are introduced in this paper. To monitor the internal condition of the reactor in real time and judge the type of defect, a partial discharge critical ...

‘Oxygen Bound to Magnesium’ as High Voltage Redox Center Causes Sloping of the Potential Profile in Mg‐Doped Layered Oxides for Na‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Na‐ion batteries ‐ Impact of doping on the oxygen redox: The sloping potential of NaMg0.1Ni0.4Mn0.5O2 above 4.0 V is caused by a new redox center (arising from the ‘O bound to Mg’), having a higher potential but being more irreversible compared to the ‘O bound to Ni’.

Prediction of 1 000 kV UHV Line Loss Based on Improved RBFNN

open access: yesZhongguo dianli, 2022
In view of the complex relationship between UHV transmission line loss and its characteristic parameters, this paper proposes a radial basis function neural network (RBFNN) model improved by use of the Canopy-K-means clustering algorithm and the adaptive

Photoconductivity‐Driven Quantum Efficiency Gain in Inorganic Ruddlesden‐Popper Layered Cs2PbBr2I2 Perovskite Photodetector for Visible Light Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Rational halogen mixing strategy was employed to shift the bandgap of Cs2PbBr2I2 from ultraviolet to visible region, enabling first realization of a visible‐light photodetector with this 2D layered Ruddlesden‐Popper perovskite material. Under illumination, light‐induced internal field forms and drives trap‐mediated persistent photoconductivity ...

The influence mechanism of leakage inductance and distributed capacitance on nanosecond pulse transformer-type trigger

open access: yesAIP Advances
The pulse trigger generator exerts a significant impact on the Marx generator’s output pulse (OP). In this paper, a pulse transformer (PT)-type trigger device is intended to give a pulse of front steepness below 30 ns, a half-width of more than 300 ns ...

Mapping Nanoscale Buckling in Atomically Thin Cr2Ge2Te6

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Atomic‐resolution STEM is used to resolve nanoscale buckling in monolayer Cr2Ge2Te₆. A noise‐robust image analysis reconstructs three‐dimensional lattice distortions from single plan‐view images, revealing pronounced defect‐driven nm‐scale out‐of‐plane buckling.
