New palaeomagnetic data for Palaeoproterozoic AMCG complexes of the Ukrainian Shield

open access: yesГеофизический журнал, 2023
A palaeomagnetic study of rocks for two Palaeoproterozoic anorthosite-mangerite-charnockite-granite (AMCG) complexes in the Ukrainian Shield was done to put additional constraints on the interpretation of palaeogeography of Fennoscandia and Volgo ...

Breed Associations of the Gaisin Block of the Ukrainian Shield [PDF]

open access: yesGeochemistry and ore formation, 2021
The Gaysins block is characterized by a wide range of both metamorphic and ultrametamorphic formations. Ultrametamorphic formations are represented by an association of rocks with a transition from charnockitoids to two-feldspar granites. Remnants of metamorphic rocks are composed of diafluorinated varieties to varying degrees.

Problems of Precambrian paleomagnetism on the territory of Ukraine

open access: yesГеофизический журнал, 2018
Some problems of paleomagnetic research of the Precambrian rocks of Ukraine are considered. The results of paleomagnetic researches of the Proterozoic rocks of the Ukrainian Shield, Ediacaran traps of Volyn and sedimentary rocks of Podolia were analyzed.

AGE SPAN FORMATION IN GRANITOIDS OF UKRAINIAN SHIELD [PDF]

open access: yesVisnyk of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. Geology, 2020
The paper discusses Berdychiv type granitoids that have always stirred up interest among researchers of the Ukrainian Shield. These rocks include minerals that are uncharacteristic of granites - cordierite, sillimanite, andalusite - and are closely related to rocks of the supposed substratum.

Large Igneous Province Record Through Time and Implications for Secular Environmental Changes and Geological Time‐Scale Boundaries

open access: yesGeophysical Monograph Series, Page 1-26., 2021

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact

An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.
