Understanding the thermal process during laser assisted ultra-high frequency induction deposition with wire feeding

, 2020
This study proposes a novel metal deposition method referred to as laser assisted ultra-high frequency induction (UHF) deposition. In this method, the UHF induction heat is used as the main heat source to melt the deposited metal, and the laser heat acts

Both Selective and Non-Selective His Bundle, but not Myocardial, Pacing Preserve Ventricular Electrical Synchrony Assessed by Ultra-High-Frequency ECG.

Heart Rhythm, 2019
BACKGROUND Right ventricular myocardial pacing leads to non-physiological activation of heart ventricles. Contrary to this, His bundle pacing preserves their fast activation.

Ultra-high-frequency power amplifiers

Proceedings of the IEE - Part B: Radio and Electronic Engineering, 1958
The paper examines a few of the problems associated with the design and construction of power amplifiers operating in the frequency band 300–3000 Mc/s.Various types of amplifier are considered in turn, and the advantages and disadvantages of each particular class are examined in some detail.

Ultra high frequency acoustic waves

Contemporary Physics, 1962
Abstract Two different experimental techniques are available for making ultra-high-frequency acoustic measurements. These are (i) the study of light-scattering (for solids and liquids), and (ii) the use of microwaves (so far mainly restricted to solids).

Performance of ultra-high-frequency ultrasound in the evaluation of skin involvement in systemic sclerosis: a preliminary report.

Rheumatology, 2019
OBJECTIVE High frequency ultrasound allows visualization of epidermis, dermis and hypodermis, precise measurement of skin thickness, as well as assessment of skin oedema, fibrosis and atrophy. The aim of this pilot cross-sectional observational study was

The Telegraphist's Equations at Ultra-High Frequencies

Physics, 1935
The telegraphist's or long line equations are derived from the Maxwell field equations for ultra-high frequencies. By taking into account retardation and the time rate of change of current, a new circuit parameter is obtained in addition to the four usually found in the conventional low frequency equations.

Vacuum Tube Electronics at Ultra-High Frequencies

Proceedings of the IRE, 1933
Vacuum tube electronics are analyzed when the time of flight of the electrons is taken into account. The analysis starts with a known current, which in general consists of direct-current value plus a number of alternating-current components. The velocities of the electrons are associated with corresponding current components, and from these velocities ...

An ultra high frequency wideband filter

Radioelectronics and Communications Systems, 2008
An ultra high frequency wideband filter was developed and fabricated. High-temperature superconductive film, sputtered in a sapphire substrate, was used as a resonator material. Loss in the filter pass band is 0.7 dB, the filter pass band is 165 MHz, its central frequency is 1877 MHz. The filter topology and amplitude-frequency responses are given.
