Super wideband characteristics of monopolar patch antenna

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2013
A simple method of acquiring super wideband characteristics for monopolar patch antenna is proposed. Through adopting a modified cone as feeding and radiating structure, the monopolar patch antenna can reach the impedance bandwidth of more than 1:23.4 ...

Tailoring Phonon‐Driven Responses in α‐MoO3 through Isotopic Enrichment

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The implementation of polaritonic materials into nanoscale devices requires selective tuning of parameters to realize desired spectral or thermal responses. One robust material, α‐MoO3, an orthorhombic crystal boasting three distinct phonon dispersions, provides three polaritonic dispersions of hyperbolic phonon polaritons (HPhPs) across the ...

Compact Ultra-Wideband Monopole Antenna Loaded with Metamaterial

open access: yesItalian National Conference on Sensors, 2020
A printed compact monopole antenna based on a single negative (SNG) metamaterial is proposed for ultra-wideband (UWB) applications. A low-profile, key-shaped structure forms the radiating monopole and is loaded with metamaterial unit cells with negative ...

Fiber‐Endface‐Integrated PdSe2/2H‐MoTe2 Heterojunction Photodetector for Broadband Linear‐Polarization Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐fiber broadband polarization photodetector is demonstrated by integrating a PdSe2/2H‐MoTe2 van der Waals heterostructure onto a fiber endface. The device exhibits broadband response spanning 532 nm to 1630 nm, a fast response time of 59 µs, and a polarization ratio of 1.99. This work demonstrates a promising hardware strategy for polarization
