Application of Ultra Wideband Signal with High Repetition Rate in Forward Scatter Multi-Static Radar System

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2017
The paper deals with the problem of detection of slow-moving ground targets in the multi-static ultra wideband forward-scatter radar. The existing methods of ground target detection cannot simultaneously provide high efficiency in conditions of clutter ...

Decawave UWB Clock Drift Correction and Power Self-Calibration

open access: yesSensors, 2019
The position accuracy based on Decawave Ultra-Wideband (UWB) is affected mainly by three factors: hardware delays, clock drift, and signal power. This article discusses the last two factors.

An On‐Demand Neuromorphic Vision System Enabled by a Multi‐Paradigm Neuromorphic Device and Hierarchical Reconfigurability Designed from Device to System Level

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An on‐demand ultra‐reconfigurable intelligent vision system with hierarchical reconfigurability from device to system levels is demonstrated. Through co‐design of a multi‐paradigm device, reconfigurable circuits, and adaptive system architecture/algorithms, the system enables seamless switching among spiking, non‐spiking, neuromorphic imaging (NI), and

Optoacoustic signal excitation with a tone-burst of short pulses

open access: yesPhotoacoustics, 2018
Individual light pulses with durations in the nanosecond range are most often employed in biomedical optoacoustic imaging. In this excitation regime, ultra-wideband acoustic responses are generated from tissues that cannot be efficiently captured with ...

Carboranyl‐Curcuminoids for the Neutron Capture‐Based Treatment of Amyloid Aggregates in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The 10B‐enriched monocarbonyl analog of curcumin (BMAC) 10B‐9 enables site‐specific Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) on amyloid‐β (Aβ) fibrils. Neutron irradiation induces histidine oxidation and fibril destabilization, as revealed by 1H‐NMR and FESEM analyses.

Toward Next‐Generation High‐Speed Communication and Imaging: Solution‐Processed Sb2(S,Se)3/CdS Heterojunction for Ultrafast Self‐Powered Photodetector

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A high‐quality solution‐processed Sb2(S,Se)3/CdS heterojunction is designed to overcome the intrinsic limitations of conventional photodetectors. The fabricated device achieves an excellent self‐powered performance, including a high responsivity of 0.6 A W−1, an ultrahigh specific detectivity of 7.68 × 1012 Jones, and a wide 3db bandwidth of 175 kHz ...

Hierarchical Reconfigurable Metasurface Based on Scenario‐Guided Functional Modules and Programmable Core

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This paper proposes a hierarchical reconfigurable metasurface architecture (HRMA) to achieve comprehensive electromagnetic parameter modulation and on‐demand polymorphic function switching. The reconfigurable metasurface is divided into a programmable core (PC) and scenario‐guided functional modules (FMs), exhibiting significant flexibility and ...

All-Optical Fiber Interferometer-Based Methods for Ultra-Wideband Signal Generation

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 2012
We report two new, simple, and cost-effective all-optical methods to generate ultra-wideband (UWB) impulse radio signals. The proposed methods are based on fiber-interferometric structures, where an input pulse is split and propagates along the two ...
