Voltage-to-Frequency Converter for Ultra-Low-Voltage Applications
2019 42nd International Convention on Information and Communication Technology, Electronics and Microelectronics (MIPRO), 2019The paper is focused on the design and analysis of a Voltage-to-Frequency Converter (VFC) that was implemented in 130 nm CMOS technology. The proposed VFC was designed using the bulk-driven technique and can reliably work with the power supply voltage of 0.4 V.

An ultra-broadband low-frequency magnetic resonance system
Journal of Magnetic Resonance, 2014MR probes commonly employ resonant circuits for efficient RF transmission and low-noise reception. These circuits are narrow-band analog devices that are inflexible for broadband and multi-frequency operation at low Larmor frequencies. We have addressed this issue by developing an ultra-broadband MR probe that operates in the 0.1-3MHz frequency range ...

Ultra Low Frequency Low Power Oscillator using Ultra-Capacitor and Advanced Flywheel
2018 International Conference on Smart Electric Drives and Power System (ICSEDPS), 2018Ultra-low-frequencies (< 1.0 Hz) are required for signal transmission in rocky layers for seismic studies. This frequency region is tougher to work on. Various methods of generating these frequencies have been in use since several years. In electrical science, it has been known ever-since that energy in electric field of a capacitor and energy in ...

Frequency-modulated ultra-low-frequency waves in near-Earth space
Physics Uspekhi, 2021This review is devoted to ultra-low-frequency electromagnetic waves of a natural origin. A variety of frequency-modulated waves whose sources are located in the ionosphere, in the radiation belt, on the periphery of the magnetosphere, and in the solar ...

A frequency to voltage converter with ultra-low residual frequency noise
CLEO Pacific Rim Conference, 2018We report on the process of residual noise suppression in a frequency to voltage converter based on a frequency difference multiplication method, for measuring frequency noise of ultra-stable laser. The double sideband frequency noise is lower than −40 dB Hz2/Hz in a bandwidth from 3 Hz to 100 kHz.

Ultra low frequency transducer and loud speaker comprising same
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 2004An ultra low frequency transducer or subwoofer for automotive speaker systems with a concave diaphragm and a pleated surround. Preferably, the periphery of the diaphragm is square or rectangular and sized to be substantially coextensive with the front of the speaker housing or cabinet.

Ultra-low phase noise frequency combs
Frontiers in Optics 2015, 2015Emerging applications put increasing demands on the short-term stability of frequency combs. We review how ultra-low noise oscillator design combined with improved loop gain and bandwidth continue to enable these most challenging applications to date.
