Fermi-Bose Mixtures and BCS-BEC Crossover in High-Tc Superconductors
In this review article we consider theoretically and give experimental support to the models of the Fermi-Bose mixtures and the BCS-BEC (Bardeen Cooper Schrieffer−Bose Einstein) crossover compared with the strong-coupling approach, which can serve ...

Quantum critical thermal transport in the unitary Fermi gas
Strongly correlated systems are often associated with an underlying quantum critical point which governs their behavior in the finite-temperature phase diagram.

Suppression of Molecular Decay in Ultracold Gases without Fermi Statistics [PDF]
We study inelastic processes for ultracold three-body systems in which only one interaction is resonant. We have found that the decay rates for weakly bound molecules due to collisions with other atoms can be suppressed not only without fermionic statistics but also when bosonic statistics applies.

Ground state of an ultracold Fermi gas of tilted dipoles in elongated traps
Many-body dipolar effects in Fermi gases are quite subtle as they energetically compete with the large kinetic energy at and below the Fermi surface (FS).

Polarons, dressed molecules and itinerant ferromagnetism in ultracold Fermi gases [PDF]
In this review, we discuss the properties of a few impurity atoms immersed in a gas of ultracold fermions, the so-called Fermi polaron problem. On one side, this many-body system is appealing because it can be described almost exactly with simple diagrammatic and/or variational theoretical approaches.

At temperatures well below the Fermi temperature T _F , the coupling of magnetic fluctuations to particle-hole excitations in a two-component Fermi gas leads to non-analytic corrections in the renormalized free energy and makes the transition to ...

Exotic superfluidity and pairing phenomena in atomic Fermi gases in mixed dimensions
Atomic Fermi gases have been an ideal platform for simulating conventional and engineering exotic physical systems owing to their multiple tunable control parameters.

A higher-order topological twist on cold-atom SO($5$) Dirac fields
Ultracold Fermi gases of spin-3/2 atoms provide a clean platform to realise SO($5$) models of 4-Fermi interactions in the laboratory. By confining the atoms in a two-dimensional Raman lattice, we show how this system can be used as a flexible quantum ...

Recent experimental progress allows for exploring some important physical quantities of ultracold Fermi gases, such as the compressibility, spin susceptibility, viscosity, optical conductivity, and spin diffusivity. Theoretically, these quantities can be
