Pseudo-spectral Landau-Lifshitz description of magnetization dynamics

open access: yes, 2023
Magnetic materials host a wealth of nonlinear dynamics, textures, and topological defects. This is possible due to the competition between strong nonlinearity and dispersion that act at the atomic scale as well as long-range interactions.

Multifocus optical-resolution photoacoustic microscope using ultrafast axial scanning of single laser pulse

open access: yesOptics Express, 2017
A tunable acoustic gradient (TAG) lens has been introduced in the fast axial scanning in optical imaging. However, it still needs additional imaging time for depth scanning. In this study, we split a single laser pulse into three sub-pulses and introduce them into three fibers with different lengths.

AC Current‐Driven Magnetization Switching and Nonlinear Hall Rectification in a Magnetic Topological Insulator

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 4, 16 January 2026.
This study reports alternating‐current (AC) driven magnetization reversal in a semi‐magnetic topological insulator (Cr,Bi,Sb)2Te3/(Bi,Sb)2Te3, with low current density. Time‐domain Hall voltage measurements reveal a nonlinear and rectified Hall effect, along with higher‐harmonic responses and hysteresis.

Diverse Responses in Lattice Thermal Conductivity of n‐Type/p‐Type Wurtzite Semiconductors Driven by Asymmetric Electron‐Phonon Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 2, 9 January 2026.
It is traditionally thought that the electron‐phonon interactions have a significant impact on the lattice thermal conductivity of both heavily doped p‐type and n‐type semiconductors. However, it is found that this is invalid in most wurtzite semiconductors.

Ultrafast laser-scanning optical resolution photoacoustic microscopy at up to 2 million A-lines per second [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Optics, 2018
The imaging speed of optical resolution photoacoustic microscopy (OR-PAM) using pulsed excitation is fundamentally limited by the range ambiguity condition, which defines the maximum laser pulse repetition frequency (PRF). To operate at this theoretical upper limit and maximize acquisition speed, a custom-built fiber laser capable of operating at a PRF

State‐of‐the‐Art, Insights, and Perspectives for MOFs‐Nanocomposites and MOF‐Derived (Nano)Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 37, Issue 52, December 29, 2025.
Different approaches to MOF‐NP composite formation, such as ship‐in‐a‐bottle, bottle‐around‐the‐ship and in situ one‐step synthesis, are used. Owing to synergistic effects, the advantageous features of the components of the composites are beneficially combined, and their individual drawbacks are mitigated.

Laser Ultrasound Super‐Resolution Imaging for Multi‐Parametric Non‐Invasive Volumetric Characterization of Brain Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 12, Issue 47, December 18, 2025.
Laser ultrasound super‐resolution imaging (LUSSI) leverages laser‐generated ultrasound for functional 3D transcranial imaging of brain tumor vasculature. Combined with optoacoustic tomography, it is demonstrated in a glioblastoma model, revealing structural abnormalities, compressed vessels, hemorrhages, and hypoxic regions.
