We present the average rest-frame spectrum of the final catalog of dusty star-forming galaxies (DSFGs) selected from the South Pole Telescope's SPT-SZ survey and measured with Band 3 of the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array.

The PASSAGES (Planck All-Sky Survey to Analyze Gravitationally-lensed Extreme Starbursts) collaboration has recently defined a sample of 30 gravitationally lensed dusty star-forming galaxies (DSFGs). These rare, submillimeter-selected objects enable high-

Characterizing the Molecular Gas in Infrared Bright Galaxies with CARMA
We present the CO(1–0) maps of 28 infrared-bright galaxies from the Great Observatories All-Sky Luminous Infrared Galaxy Survey (GOALS) taken with the Combined Array for Research in Millimeter Astronomy (CARMA).

Extended Star Formation in Luminous Infrared Galaxies at z ∼ 1 in the SMILES Field
Luminous infrared galaxies (LIRGs) and ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs) in the local Universe are highly centrally concentrated in the mid-infrared (MIR) and substantially more likely than non-(U)LIRGs to be involved in mergers.

The JCMT SCUBA-2 Survey of the James Webb Space Telescope North Ecliptic Pole Time-Domain Field
The James Webb Space Telescope Time-Domain Field (JWST-TDF) is an ∼14′ diameter field near the North Ecliptic Pole that will be targeted by one of the JWST Guaranteed Time Observations programs. Here, we describe our James Clerk Maxwell Telescope SCUBA-2

Luminous infrared (IR) galaxies are key sites of obscured stellar mass assembly at z > 0.5. Their star formation rates (SFRs) are often estimated using the luminosities of the 6.2 and 11.2 μ m polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon (PAH) features or those of ...

Star formation in the ultraluminous infrared galaxy F00183-7111 [PDF]
Abstract We report the detection of molecular CO(1–0) gas in F00183-7111, one of the most extreme ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs) known, with the Australia Telescope Compact Array. We measure a redshift of 0.3292 for F00183-7111 from the CO(1–0) line and estimate the mass of the molecular gas in 00183 to be 1 × 1010 M⊙.
