Isomorphism of Trees and Isometry of Ultrametric Spaces
We study the conditions under which the isometry of spaces with metrics generated by weights given on the edges of finite trees is equivalent to the isomorphism of these trees.

Ultrametrically injective spaces [PDF]
We study the injective objects in the category of ultrametric spaces with contractive mappings. As a result, the property of spherical completeness is characterized in several new ways related to extensions of uniformly continuous mappings and to extensions of isometries. A construction of the injective envelope is also given.

Penot’s Compactness Property in Ultrametric Spaces with an Application
In this work, we investigate the compactness property in the sense of Penot in ultrametric spaces. Then, we show that spherical completeness is exactly the Penot’s compactness property introduced for convexity structures.

ROUNDNESS PROPERTIES OF ULTRAMETRIC SPACES [PDF]
AbstractMotivated by a classical theorem of Schoenberg, we prove that an n + 1 point finite metric space has strict 2-negative type if and only if it can be isometrically embedded in the Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^{n}$ of dimension n but it cannot be isometrically embedded in any Euclidean space $\mathbb{R}^{r}$ of dimension r < n.

CUDA and OpenMp Implementation of Boolean Matrix Product with Applications in Visual SLAM
In this paper, the concept of ultrametric structure is intertwined with the SLAM procedure. A set of pre-existing transformations has been used to create a new simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm.

Homogeneous Ultrametric Spaces
Fortsetzung von zwei vorangehenden Arbeiten über verallgemeinerte ultrametrische Räume [the authors, Generalized ultrametric spaces I, Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamb. 66, 55-73 (1996); and Part II (1997)]. Es wird der Begriff des homogenen ultrametrischen Raumes eingeführt [the authors, C. R. Math. Acad. Sci., Soc. R. Can. 18, 1-16 (1996; Zbl 0853.54029)]

On metric structure of ultrametric spaces [PDF]
In our work we have reconsidered the old problem of diffusion at the boundary of ultrametric tree from a "number theoretic" point of view. Namely, we use the modular functions (in particular, the Dedekind eta-function) to construct the "continuous" analog of the Cayley tree isometrically embedded in the Poincare upper half-plane.

Probability measure monad on the category of ultrametric spaces
The set of all probability measures with compact support on an ultrametric space can be endowed with a natural ultrametric. We show that the functor of probability measures with finite supports (respectively compact supports) forms a monad in the ...
